Black Sticky Rice Porridge

Ingredients

Porridge

  • 250 grams black sticky rice, soaked for about 2 hours
  • 150 grams palm sugar
  • Granulated sugar, to taste
  • 3 pandan leaves

Coconut sauce

  • Coconut milk
  • Salt
  • Pandan leaves

Preparation

  1. Mix all coconut sauce ingredients and cook until boiling, then set aside

  2. Cook palm sugar and granulated sugar with a glass of water until dissolved, strain, and set aside

  3. Boil water, add the sticky rice and pandan leaves, and cook until soft

  4. Add the sugar mixture, cook again until thickened, then turn off the heat

  5. Serve the porridge with coconut sauce poured over it
