Fragrant Pandan Infused Rice

Ingredients

  • 500 grams rice
  • 600 milliliters medium coconut milk
  • Water as needed
  • 15 pandan leaves
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt

Preparation

  1. Blend the coconut milk with the pandan leaves and strain.

  2. Boil the pandan-infused coconut milk mixture.

  3. After it boils, add the rice and salt.

  4. Cook the rice until it is half-cooked; if it is still too hard, add water gradually.

  5. Steam the rice until fully cooked, about 30-45 minutes.

  6. Serve the pandan rice with complementary dishes.
