Grilled Chicken Wings with Asian Marinade
Ingredients
- 3 organic chicken wings
- 3 satay skewers
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Ground spices
- 3 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cm piece of ginger
- 1 lemongrass stalk
- 3 large red chilies
- 2 red bird's eye chilies
Preparation
Wash the chicken wings thoroughly and dry them.
Grind the ground spices into a fine paste.
Combine the spice paste with oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sweet soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
Marinate the chicken wings in the mixture and refrigerate for up to 24 hours or let sit for 1 hour.
Soak the satay skewers in water for a few minutes.
Thread the marinated wings onto the skewers.
Grill the skewered wings, turning occasionally and basting with the remaining marinade, until fully cooked.
Serve immediately.
