Indonesian Spicy Sambal Bajak
Ingredients
- 20 red bird's eye chilies
- 15 green bird's eye chilies
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 small green tomato
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 limes
- 4 tablespoons hot oil
Preparation
Boil the red and green bird's eye chilies, garlic, and green tomato until wilted, then drain.
Mash the mixture, add salt, pour hot oil over it, mix well, add lime juice, and it is ready to serve.
Serving suggestions
Serve with salted fish, fried chicken, or fresh vegetables.
