Indonesian Spicy Sweet Beef Ribs
Ingredients
- 500g beef ribs
- Beef scraps (optional)
- Aromatic spices: cardamom, star anise, cloves
- Water for boiling
Sauce components
- 1 medium onion, pureed
- Garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Palm sugar to taste
- 3 tablespoons tamarind juice
- Honey to taste
Seasoning
- Low-sodium salt
Garnish
- Sliced chili to taste
Preparation
Boil the ribs with aromatic spices until tender.
Sauté the sauce ingredients until fragrant, then add the tender ribs along with their boiling liquid.
Season and adjust the taste.
Cook until the sauce thickens, then add the sliced chili, cook briefly, and it is ready to serve.
