Steamed Tofu Wrap
Ingredients
- 10 white tofu blocks
- Banana leaves as needed
- Toothpicks or staples
- 1 egg
- Basil leaves as needed
- Tomato as needed
- Chilies as needed
- 3 red onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt as needed
- Sugar as needed
- Stock powder as needed
Preparation
Heat the steamer.
In a bowl, mix the tofu with the ground onions, salt, stock powder, and a little sugar. Stir and taste.
Add the egg, basil leaves, and sliced tomato. Stir until well combined.
Prepare the banana leaves by cleaning them and using a double layer to prevent leaking.
Take 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture, add a few whole chilies, wrap in the leaves, and secure with toothpicks or staples. Repeat until all mixture is used.
Steam for 15-20 minutes until cooked.
