Belen Tava Turkish Meat Stew
Ingredients
- 750 grams diced meat
- 2 large tomatoes
- 3 large bell peppers
- 2 medium onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon pepper paste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 cup meat broth
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
Preparation
Partially cook the meat in a pressure cooker until half-done.
Transfer the meat and all other ingredients to a baking dish and mix well.
Add butter and meat broth on top.
Cover the dish with parchment paper and a lid, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
