Persian Market-Style Pan Kebab
Ingredients
- 300 grams ground meat (200g beef, 100g lamb)
- 1 onion
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Turmeric
- Garlic powder
- Basil
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- Hot water
- 1 tomato, pureed
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Turmeric
- Garlic powder
Preparation
Grate the onion and mix it with the ground meat, salt, black pepper, turmeric, garlic powder, and basil, then form into kebab shapes.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the kebabs until browned and cooked through.
For the sauce, combine tomato paste, hot water, pureed tomato, salt, black pepper, turmeric, and garlic powder in a saucepan and cook until thickened.
Serve the kebabs with the sauce.
