Cheese and Milk Pie
Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup corn oil
- 1 and 1/4 cups warm water
Filling
- 1 cup soft cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
Top layer
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
Bring a 10-inch round pan and set it aside, then cut the dough into small pieces.
In a mixer bowl, place the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, baking powder, oil, and water, attach the dough hook and mix for a few minutes to get a smooth dough, cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes until doubled in size.
For the filling, place the cheese in a bowl, add the sugar and coffee, mix well, place a little filling in the center of the dough pieces, seal them tightly, arrange them in the pan with some space between them, cover and let them double in size.
Preheat the oven to 190°C, bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown, remove from oven, spread the milk on top while hot, and serve warm.
