Salted Caramel Lava Cake

Ingredients

Cake

  • 3/4 cup flour of your choice
  • 7 Tbsp ground almonds
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 Tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup plant milk
  • 1 small mashed banana

Filling

  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Mix the cake ingredients together to form a batter

  2. In a separate bowl, combine the filling ingredients until smooth

  3. Grease ramekins or molds and fill halfway with batter

  4. Add a spoonful of filling to the center of each mold and cover with more batter

  5. Bake at 180C/360F for 10-15 minutes

  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving
