Salted Caramel Lava Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 3/4 cup flour of your choice
- 7 Tbsp ground almonds
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- a pinch of salt
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1 small mashed banana
Filling
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
Mix the dry ingredients for the cake: flour, ground almonds, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients for the cake: maple syrup, plant milk, and mashed banana.
Combine the wet and dry mixtures to form the cake batter.
Mix the filling ingredients: peanut butter, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.
Preheat the oven to 180C or 360F.
Grease muffin tins or ramekins.
Fill each mold halfway with cake batter, add a spoonful of filling in the center, and cover with more batter.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
