Simple Homemade British Scones
Ingredients
- 500 grams pastry flour
- 2 packets baking powder
- 250 ml cold milk
- 150 grams cold butter, cubed
- Pinch of salt
- 80 grams sugar
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients together until combined.
Add the butter and mix until a uniform dough forms.
Add the milk and continue kneading until a firm dough is obtained.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and shape the scones, ensuring a minimum thickness of 1.5 cm.
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 12 minutes.
