Vegan Jalapeno Cheese Sourdough Bread
Ingredients
- 450g flour (half bread flour, half all-purpose)
- 351g water
- 68g starter
- 9g salt
Inclusions
- Fresh jalapenos (pan-fried)
- Vegan cheddar cheese
Preparation
Mix flour, water, starter, and salt to form a dough.
Allow the dough to bulk ferment for 5 hours at room temperature.
Pan-fry fresh jalapenos until slightly softened.
Incorporate the jalapenos and vegan cheddar cheese into the dough and shape it.
Refrigerate the shaped dough for approximately 18 hours.
Bake the dough in a preheated oven until golden brown and fully cooked.
Tips
Use more vegan cheese than specified to avoid it being insufficient.
Feel free to substitute inclusions with whatever is available on hand.
