Quinoa Breakfast Bowl with Maple Syrup and Banana

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • a few spoonfuls of hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • peanut butter
  • jam
  • 1/2 banana

Preparation

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup quinoa with 1 cup coconut milk and a few spoonfuls of hemp seeds (optional).

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  3. Cover and reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Once cooked, stir in a tablespoon of maple syrup.

  5. Top with peanut butter, jam, and half a banana.
