Quinoa Breakfast Bowl with Maple Syrup and Banana
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup quinoa
- 1 cup coconut milk
- a few spoonfuls of hemp seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- peanut butter
- jam
- 1/2 banana
Preparation
In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup quinoa with 1 cup coconut milk and a few spoonfuls of hemp seeds (optional).
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Cover and reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once cooked, stir in a tablespoon of maple syrup.
Top with peanut butter, jam, and half a banana.
