Golden Quinoa Breakfast Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 C quinoa
  • 1/2 C shelled hemp heart seeds
  • 1/2 C rolled oats
  • 2 C milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Suggested toppings

  • Peanut butter or any nut butter
  • Chia and flax seeds
  • Maple syrup
  • Berries or figs
  • Banana
  • Chocolate
  • Cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Rinse the quinoa. In a medium pot bring the quinoa and water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook until the water is gone.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for another 3-4 minutes until porridge has reached the desired consistency.

  3. Top porridge with any desired toppings.
