Golden Quinoa Breakfast Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 C quinoa
- 1/2 C shelled hemp heart seeds
- 1/2 C rolled oats
- 2 C milk
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
Suggested toppings
- Peanut butter or any nut butter
- Chia and flax seeds
- Maple syrup
- Berries or figs
- Banana
- Chocolate
- Cinnamon
Preparation
Rinse the quinoa. In a medium pot bring the quinoa and water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook until the water is gone.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook for another 3-4 minutes until porridge has reached the desired consistency.
Top porridge with any desired toppings.
