Cypriot Style Fried Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 250g ground meat
  • 1 cup bread crumbs or breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 grated onion
  • 3 grated potatoes
  • A pinch of parsley
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Squeeze the excess water from the grated potatoes and onions and add them to the ground meat.

  2. Add the egg, parsley, and spices.

  3. Knead the mixture well.

  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs with your hands.

  5. Fry the meatballs in hot oil until cooked.
