Fried Potato and Meat Patties

Ingredients

  • 3 small potatoes
  • 300 grams ground meat
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 egg
  • Quarter of a soaked and squeezed stale bread
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Parsley (optional)

Preparation

  1. Grate the potatoes using the fine side of a grater and squeeze out the excess water thoroughly.

  2. Place in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and knead well to combine.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to rest.

  4. Shape into finger-length pieces and fry in hot oil until golden.
