Turkish Fried Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 500 grams medium-fat ground meat
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 2 heaping tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • Black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Oregano
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and knead well.

  2. Shape into desired forms and refrigerate for about an hour.

  3. Heat 5-6 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan.

  4. Fry the meatballs on low heat until both sides are cooked.

  5. Serve with ketchup and mayonnaise.
