Vegan Gluten-Free Oat Waffles

Ingredients

  • 350 ml plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 200 grams oats
  • 1 tablespoon nut or seed paste
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Mix the milk with vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes.

  2. Blend with the remaining ingredients until smooth batter forms.

  3. Pour onto a hot waffle iron and cook for 2.5 minutes or until crispy.

Tips

  1. For a sweet version, add vanilla and maple syrup to the batter.

  2. Waffles can be frozen and reheated in microwave, toaster, or air fryer.
