Vegan Gluten-Free Oat Waffles
Ingredients
- 350 ml plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 200 grams oats
- 1 tablespoon nut or seed paste
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Mix the milk with vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes.
Blend with the remaining ingredients until smooth batter forms.
Pour onto a hot waffle iron and cook for 2.5 minutes or until crispy.
Tips
For a sweet version, add vanilla and maple syrup to the batter.
Waffles can be frozen and reheated in microwave, toaster, or air fryer.
