Overnight Oats with Spiced Apples

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Pinch of salt

Spiced apples

  • 1 Apple, thinly sliced
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sweetener (e.g., date syrup)
  • 1 tbsp water

Preparation

  1. In a container, add oats, apple pie spice, salt, chia seeds, and milk. Stir to combine and allow to thicken overnight.

  2. In the morning, heat up a pan.

  3. Add sliced apples, sweetener, salt, and cinnamon to the pan.

  4. Sauté apples until softened and liquid has caramelized.

  5. Top the oats with the apples and enjoy.
