Overnight Oats with Spiced Apples
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Pinch of salt
Spiced apples
- 1 Apple, thinly sliced
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tsp sweetener (e.g., date syrup)
- 1 tbsp water
Preparation
In a container, add oats, apple pie spice, salt, chia seeds, and milk. Stir to combine and allow to thicken overnight.
In the morning, heat up a pan.
Add sliced apples, sweetener, salt, and cinnamon to the pan.
Sauté apples until softened and liquid has caramelized.
Top the oats with the apples and enjoy.
