Overnight Swiss Bircher Muesli with Yogurt
Ingredients
- 100 g fine rolled oats (or coarse rolled oats)
- 100 ml milk (or plant-based milk)
- 2 tbsp ground hazelnuts (or ground almonds)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1 apple (or pear)
- 300 g plain yogurt (3.5% fat)
Toppings
- Berries, chopped nuts, almonds, or raisins (optional)
Preparation
Mix rolled oats, milk, ground hazelnuts or almonds, honey, and sugar in a bowl and let the mixture soak for at least 1 hour
Wash the apple, pat dry, and coarsely grate including the peel
Stir the grated apple and yogurt into the oat mixture
Season with additional sweeteners, ground cinnamon, or vanilla to taste
Tips
Prepare the night before and let soak overnight for best results
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
