Classic Gluten-Free Vegan Apple Crisp
Ingredients
Filling
- 6 cups sliced apples
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Topping
- 1 1/2 cups gluten-free oats
- 1/2 cup brown rice flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup melted vegan butter
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Grease a baking dish and preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Toss the sliced apples into the dish and mix with lemon juice and maple syrup.
In a separate bowl, combine all the topping ingredients.
Spread the topping mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake for 45-50 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream or coconut whip.
