Corn Cake with Guava and Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 can corn
- 1 can milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- cream cheese to taste
- guava paste to taste
Preparation
Mix together the corn, milk, sugar, cornmeal, oil, eggs, and baking powder until well combined
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan
Preheat the oven to 200Β°C and bake for 15 minutes
Add the cream cheese and guava paste on top
Continue baking for an additional 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Tips
Add the cream cheese and guava paste after 15 minutes of baking to prevent them from sinking to the bottom
