Corn Cake with Guava and Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • cream cheese to taste
  • guava paste to taste

Preparation

  1. Mix together the corn, milk, sugar, cornmeal, oil, eggs, and baking powder until well combined

  2. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan

  3. Preheat the oven to 200Β°C and bake for 15 minutes

  4. Add the cream cheese and guava paste on top

  5. Continue baking for an additional 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

Tips

  1. Add the cream cheese and guava paste after 15 minutes of baking to prevent them from sinking to the bottom
