Classic Brazilian Cornmeal Cake
Ingredients
- 250g corn starch
- 250g cornmeal
- 250g sugar
- 250ml milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
Preparation
Blend eggs and sugar for 1 minute
Gradually add milk, butter, cornmeal, and corn starch
Continue blending until the batter is smooth
Gently stir in baking powder until combined
Pour into a pan greased with margarine and dusted with cornmeal
Bake in a preheated oven at 240Β°C for 35 to 40 minutes
