Classic Brazilian Cornmeal Cake
Ingredients
- 250g corn starch
- 250g cornmeal
- 250g sugar
- 250ml milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
Preparation
In a blender, beat the eggs and sugar for 1 minute
Gradually add the milk, butter, cornmeal, and corn starch
Continue blending until the batter is smooth
Finally, add the baking powder and gently stir until combined
Pour into a pan greased with margarine and dusted with cornmeal
Bake in a preheated oven at 240Β°C for about 35 to 40 minutes
