Fluffy Filled Pastry Dough

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tea glasses warm milk
  • 1 tea glass vegetable oil
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet dry yeast (or half packet fresh yeast)
  • 6.5 to 7 tea glasses flour

Filling

  • 200 grams cheese

Glaze

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Preparation

  1. Mix all the dough ingredients together to form a dough.

  2. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

  3. Cover and refrigerate the dough overnight.

  4. In the morning, divide the dough and shape it into desired forms, such as pockets or rolls.

  5. Fill the shapes with cheese or other fillings as desired.

  6. Brush the surface with a mixture of egg yolks and milk.

  7. Preheat the oven to 190°C.

  8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
