Orange Sauce Cake with Pudding
Ingredients
Cake
- 2 eggs
- 1 tea glass powdered sugar
- 1 tea glass vegetable oil
- 1 tea glass milk
- 3 tea glasses flour
- 1 packet vanilla
- 2 packets baking powder
Muhallebi
- 3 water glasses milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon starch
- 1 water glass powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 packet vanilla
Orange sauce
- Juice of 4 fresh oranges
- 2 tablespoons starch
- 1 tea glass powdered sugar
Preparation
Beat the eggs and sugar together.
Add the vegetable oil and milk, and stir lightly.
Add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla, and beat a bit more.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake at 160 degrees Celsius until cooked.
In a pot, beat together the milk, flour, starch, and sugar for the muhallebi.
Place the muhallebi mixture on the stove and stir continuously while cooking until it thickens.
Add the butter and vanilla to the muhallebi, remove from heat, and let it cool.
For the orange sauce, squeeze the juice from 4 fresh oranges into a pot.
Add the starch and powdered sugar to the orange juice, and stir continuously while cooking until it thickens.
Let the orange sauce cool.
Once the cake has cooled slightly after baking, beat the cooled muhallebi with a mixer and pour it over the cake.
Beat the orange sauce well and pour it over the muhallebi.
Place the cake in the refrigerator and chill for about 1 hour.
