Simple Oven-Baked Marinated Fish

Ingredients

  • Any type of fish
  • 1 large heaping tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large heaping tablespoon mixed spices (roasted and ground dried coriander, cumin, red pepper)
  • Zest of one lemon
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 4 crushed garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 coffee cup olive oil
  • Lemon slices
  • Onion slices
  • Bell pepper slices

Preparation

  1. Wash the fish thoroughly and remove the scales.

  2. Mix all the marinade ingredients together well.

  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  4. Place the fish on the parchment paper and season it with the marinade on both sides.

  5. Arrange lemon slices, onion slices, and bell pepper slices around the fish.

  6. Preheat the oven with heat from top and bottom at the highest setting.

  7. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until done to your liking, depending on the size of the fish.
