Baked Zucchini Rolls with Ham and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 800 grams dark zucchini
  • 150 grams scamorza cheese
  • 100 grams cooked ham slices
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • breadcrumbs
  • grated parmesan
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. Slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin strips.

  2. Grill or sauté the zucchini slices until slightly softened.

  3. Place a slice of scamorza cheese and a piece of ham on each zucchini strip and roll up tightly.

  4. Coat the rolls with a mixture of breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, salt, and pepper.

  5. Drizzle the rolls with extra virgin olive oil.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden and the cheese is melted, about 20-30 minutes.
