Cinnamon Roll French Toasts

Ingredients

  • 1 heaping Tbsp chia seeds * 1/2 Tbsp agave nectar or maple syrup * 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
  • * 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • * 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • * 4-5 slices of sturdy bread, preferably sourdough or rye

Preparation

  1. Mix all of your ingredients, excluding the bread, in a bowl, and place this mixture in the fridge for 10-20 minutes to allow your chia seeds to soak up the liquid

  2. Preheat your pan or riddle to medium heat with coconut oil, and begin to dip your slices of bread into your mixture on each side for 20 seconds each

  3. Cook on your pan or griddle until golden brown, and repeat on the other side

  4. Finally, serve and finish with toppings galore
