Indonesian Stuffed Tofu Soup
Ingredients
- 10 small tofu
- 250 grams ground meat
- 75 grams ground shrimp
- 1 chicken egg
- 50 ml ice water
- 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- To taste salt
- To taste ground pepper
Soup broth
- Chicken stock (village chicken preferred)
- To taste salt
- To taste ground pepper
- Minced garlic, fried
- Green onion
Preparation
In a bowl, mix all ingredients except tofu and stir until well combined
Cut tofu but not all the way through, stuff with the meat mixture and do this until all are done
Prepare a steamer and steam the stuffed tofu until cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes
Then fry the stuffed tofu, it can be stored for later use
For the soup broth, use chicken stock, add salt and pepper to taste, add fried minced garlic and green onion, and it's ready to enjoy while warm
Tips
The stuffed tofu can be made into stock and easily added to the soup when ready to cook, making it practical and easy
