Fried Tofu and Tapioca Fritters with Spicy Dip
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of tofu
- 100 grams tapioca flour
- 2 stalks green onion
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Powdered stock, to taste
- Water, as needed
- Wonton wrappers
Cobek sauce
- 50 grams palm sugar
- 1 clove garlic
- 1-2 sections kencur
- Bird's eye chili, to taste
- Salt
- Boiled water, as needed
Preparation
Mix the tofu, tapioca flour, green onion, salt, pepper, stock powder, and add water gradually until a thick dough forms.
Take 1 teaspoon of dough, attach it to a small piece of wonton wrapper, seal the sides, and fry until golden brown.
Pound all the cobek sauce ingredients, add water until it is thick but slightly runny, then pour over the cireng.
