Overnight Oats with Whipped Coffee
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats (old fashioned or porridge)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple or agave syrup
- pinch of sea salt
- 3/4 cup plant milk of choice
Whipped coffee
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee
- 1 tablespoon raw cane or coconut sugar
- 1 tablespoon hot water
Optional toppings
- crushed cookies, such as biscoff
Preparation
Mix all overnight oats ingredients in a jar and let sit in the fridge overnight.
In the morning, give the mixture a stir and transfer to a serving cup on top of a layer of crushed cookies.
For the whipped coffee, whip all ingredients with an electric whisk until stiff and foamy.
Transfer the whipped coffee on top of the oats and serve.
Notes
This recipe is ideal for busy mornings and should be prepared the night before.
Use your preferred plant milk and consider adjusting sweetness to taste.
