Pan-Fried Shrimp Tacos with Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1 bag of coleslaw and dressing
- 1 pound shrimp
- 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper (or a store bought mix)
- Avocado
- Jalapeno
- Tortilla shells
Preparation
Pat dry the shrimp.
Toss the shrimp with spices and a drizzle of olive oil.
Combine the coleslaw mix with sauce, slice the avocado and jalapeño.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat; once hot, add the shrimp, spread them apart, cook for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Assemble the tacos with coleslaw, shrimp, avocado, and jalapeño.
Notes
This recipe can be prepared in under 20 minutes using store-bought coleslaw.
