Pan-Fried Shrimp Tacos with Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of coleslaw and dressing
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper (or a store bought mix)
  • Avocado
  • Jalapeno
  • Tortilla shells

Preparation

  1. Pat dry the shrimp.

  2. Toss the shrimp with spices and a drizzle of olive oil.

  3. Combine the coleslaw mix with sauce, slice the avocado and jalapeño.

  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat; once hot, add the shrimp, spread them apart, cook for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  5. Assemble the tacos with coleslaw, shrimp, avocado, and jalapeño.

Notes

  1. This recipe can be prepared in under 20 minutes using store-bought coleslaw.
