Pink Oatmeal Bowl with Beets and Toppings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup cashew milk
- 1 scoop collagen powder
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 1/2 small beet, cut into small chunks or 1 tbs beet powder
Toppings
- sliced bananas
- fresh blueberries
- almond butter
- pumpkin seeds
- hemp seeds
Preparation
Add all the ingredients into a small pot and simmer for 3-5 minutes. The beets will dye the oatmeal into a gorgeous pink color.
Feel free to cook the oats longer to soften the beets, but initially chopping them into small pieces helps them cook faster.
Then top off the oatmeal bowl and serve. I added sliced bananas, fresh blueberries, almond butter, pumpkin seeds, and hemp seeds.
