Quick Microwave Berry Jam with Chia Seeds
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 2 teaspoons date syrup or sweetener of choice
- Bowl of oats
- Peanut butter
- Banana
Preparation
Put 1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries into a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat in the microwave for about 2 minutes to defrost and warm the berries.
Add 2 teaspoons of chia seeds and 2 teaspoons of date syrup or sweetener of choice.
Mix together thoroughly.
Allow to sit for 3-5 minutes to thicken.
Prepare a bowl of oats.
Top the oats with the berry jam and peanut butter.
Swirl them together.
Add banana slices on top.
