Simple Microwave Berry Jam with Chia Seeds
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- Optional sweetener, to taste
Preparation
Place 1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 2 minutes to defrost and warm the berries.
Add 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, mix well, and allow the mixture to sit for 3-5 minutes.
If desired, sweeten to taste.
Alternatively, for stovetop method, cook the frozen berries on the stovetop until they thaw and release their juices, then add chia seeds and let sit for 3-5 minutes.
