Simple Microwave Berry Jam with Chia Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • Optional sweetener, to taste

Preparation

  1. Place 1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 2 minutes to defrost and warm the berries.

  2. Add 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, mix well, and allow the mixture to sit for 3-5 minutes.

  3. If desired, sweeten to taste.

  4. Alternatively, for stovetop method, cook the frozen berries on the stovetop until they thaw and release their juices, then add chia seeds and let sit for 3-5 minutes.
