Sautéed Peaches with Maple Syrup and Oats

Ingredients

  • 2 peaches or nectarines
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground flax
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. While oats are cooking, combine sliced peaches with maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg; toss to coat.

  2. Add the coated peaches to a preheated sauté pan.

  3. Cook both sides of the peaches evenly for 3-4 minutes or until they start to soften.

  4. Serve the sautéed peaches immediately with the cooked oats.
