Vegan Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 thick slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 2 slices tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black salt (Kala namak)
  • Black pepper as desired

Preparation

  1. Cut the toast from the top in the middle not reaching the edges nor bottom

  2. Stuff the toast with cheese and a tomato slice

  3. In a wide bowl mix the remaining ingredients and dip the stuffed toast in it, making sure you get all the sides

  4. Heat a nonstick pan (you can spray a bit of oil) and cook the toast on a medium heat, flipping to make sure all sides are slightly browned. Serve warm and enjoy
