Vegan Brioche French Toast
Ingredients
- 4 slices of Vegan Brioche
- 3/4 cup non-dairy milk
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
Preparation
Lightly toast the vegan brioche slices or leave them uncovered for 1 hour until slightly stale.
Blend the non-dairy milk and remaining ingredients in a cup blender to prepare the batter.
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle on medium heat and brush with a thin coat of oil.
Dip the bread in the batter until well coated, then transfer to the heated pan or griddle.
Fry for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden, flipping when they easily release from the pan.
Serving suggestions
Serve with fruit, powdered sugar, and/or maple syrup for dipping.
