Simple Village Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold rice
  • 1/2 bunch water spinach
  • 1/2 cup anchovies (for frying)
  • Seafood or chicken
  • Salt and seasoning to taste

Pounded

  • 7 bird's eye chilies
  • 5 shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons anchovies
  • A little shrimp paste

Preparation

  1. Pound all the pounded ingredients.

  2. Heat oil and fry the anchovies until crispy, then set them aside and sauté the pounded ingredients until fragrant.

  3. Add salt and seasoning to taste.

  4. Add the seafood or chicken.

  5. When the seafood or chicken is almost cooked, add the rice and mix well.

  6. Add the water spinach and mix evenly.

  7. When done, turn off the heat.

  8. Add the fried anchovies and mix evenly.

Serving suggestions

  1. Serve the fried rice with fried egg and fried crackers for a delicious meal.
