Crunchy Cauliflower with Rice Flour Coating
Ingredients
- 1 large cauliflower
- Oil for frying
Coating
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Marinade
- 3 tablespoons coconut yogurt
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 1/2 tablespoon garam masala
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon amchur or dried mango powder
- 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
Preparation
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces
Blanch the cauliflower in boiling water for 2-3 minutes
Marinate the cauliflower in the marinade ingredients for 30 minutes
Mix all the coating ingredients in a bowl
Dip the marinated cauliflower in the coating powder to coat evenly
Fry until crispy
