Indonesian Candlenut Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • 10 curly red chilies
  • 15 red bird's eye chilies
  • 100 grams green bird's eye chilies
  • 3 candlenuts
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 5 shallots
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Fry all ingredients except palm sugar and salt until fragrant, do not over-dry.

  2. Then coarsely grind and add palm sugar and salt to taste.

  3. Finally, pour 2 tablespoons of hot frying oil over the sambal, stir well, and it is ready to serve.
