Sweet Malaysian Cucur Kembong
Ingredients
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Cook the cooking oil, sugar, and water until boiling.
Turn off the heat.
Carefully add the flour and stir with a spoon until the mixture becomes a smooth dough; let it cool.
Knead the dough lightly.
Portion the dough into even-sized balls, similar to making onde-onde.
Rest the shaped dough for about 10 minutes.
Deep fry in medium heat until done.
