Maple Tahini Stove Top Granola
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup tahini (make sure it’s runny, I used @soomfoods)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (you can use more if you like your granola more sweet)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt or more to taste
Optional additions
- cacao nibs
- pepitas
- raisins
Preparation
Add oats to a large skillet or sauté pan over medium heat.
Stir and toast oats for about 1-2 minutes.
Add in seasonings and salt and toss to combine then add in remaining ingredients.
Lower heat slightly, and continue to stir to prevent granola from burning for about 5-6 minutes.
Lower heat again to low and allow to continue toasting while stirring for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Granola should have a toasted golden color to them.
Remove from heat and allow granola to completely cool before storing.
Granola will continue to crisp up as it cools.
