Buckwheat Tahini Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp flax meal
  • 1/4 cup creamy tahini
  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • 2/3 cup almond flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • vegan chocolate chips & pink sea salt on top

Preparation

  1. Mash bananas in a large bowl

  2. Add milk, oil, flax and tahini and mix well

  3. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken

  4. Stir in flours, spices and baking powder

  5. Option to add maple or coconut sugar (2 tbsp)

  6. Pour into an oiled bread pan, sprinkle with chocolate chips and sea salt and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
