Easy Taiwanese Style Scallion Pancake

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • warm water as needed
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 eggs
  • ABC hot sauce
  • cooking oil as needed

Preparation

  1. Prepare a bowl, add flour and salt, then add water little by little and knead until smooth.

  2. Roll out the dough until thin and even, adding oil little by little while rolling.

  3. Sprinkle with green onion, then roll up lengthwise while pressing to stick together.

  4. Roll into a circle shape.

  5. Let rest for 20 minutes so the dough sticks well, then roll out again until thin and even.

  6. Heat a non-stick pan, fry on low heat with a little oil, flipping until cooked, then remove.

  7. Add eggs to the same pan, spread them out, then cover with the fried pancake.

  8. Wait for the eggs to stick to the pancake and cook fully.

  9. Remove, roll up, cut to preference, and serve with ABC hot sauce for dipping.
