Healthy Chocolate Orange Oat Balls Snack

Ingredients

  • 14 large medjool dates, pitted
  • 100g unsalted cashew butter
  • 3 tbsp raw unsweetened cacao
  • 2 tbsp cashew butter
  • juice and zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup jumbo oats
  • three drops @youngliving orange oil (optional)

Preparation

  1. Put all ingredients apart from the oats in a food processor and pulse until it comes together (it will be quite sticky)

  2. Toast the oats in a dry pan for a few minutes, shaking the pan to avoid burning

  3. Put the mixture in a bowl and add the oats

  4. Using your hands, combine everything well

  5. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up

  6. Roll into balls and enjoy
