Simple Homemade Snickers Candy Bars

Ingredients

Chocolate layers

  • 280 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 120 g creamy peanut butter

Peanut layer

  • 80 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 100 g heavy cream
  • 250 g soft caramel candies
  • 200 g salted peanuts

Marshmallow layer

  • 60 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 30 g heavy cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 80 g creamy peanut butter
  • 200 g marshmallow fluff

For cutting

  • a little sunflower oil

Preparation

  1. Set a 20x30 cm baking frame on a parchment-lined baking sheet

  2. Chop 140g dark chocolate and melt with 60g peanut butter over a water bath

  3. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly on the bottom of the baking sheet and chill for 30 minutes

  4. Bring 80g sweetened condensed milk and 100g heavy cream to a boil in a small pot

  5. Dissolve 250g caramel candies until a thick caramel sauce forms, then stir in 200g salted peanuts

  6. Cool the caramel-peanut mixture for 15 minutes, then spread over the chocolate layer ensuring it is cool to prevent melting the chocolate

  7. Chill for 1 hour

  8. Combine 60g sweetened condensed milk, 30g heavy cream, 50g sugar, and 80g peanut butter in a small pot and melt over low to medium heat

  9. Stir in 200g marshmallow fluff

  10. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the peanut layer and spread evenly

  11. Chill for 1 hour

  12. Melt the remaining 140g dark chocolate and 60g peanut butter over a water bath

  13. Pour the melted chocolate over the marshmallow layer and spread evenly

  14. Chill until firm

  15. Coat a knife with sunflower oil and cut the bars into pieces
