Homemade Snickers Candy Bars

Ingredients

Chocolate layers

  • 280 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 120 g creamy peanut butter

Peanut layer

  • 80 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 100 g heavy cream
  • 250 g soft caramel candies
  • 200 g salted peanuts

Marshmallow layer

  • 60 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 30 g heavy cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 80 g creamy peanut butter
  • 200 g marshmallow fluff

Additional

  • sunflower oil

Preparation

  1. Set a 20x30 cm baking frame on a parchment-lined baking sheet

  2. Finely chop 140g dark chocolate and melt with 60g peanut butter over a water bath

  3. Spread the chocolate evenly on the bottom of the baking sheet

  4. Chill for 30 minutes

  5. Bring sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream to a boil in a saucepan

  6. Dissolve caramel candies in the mixture until a thick caramel sauce forms

  7. Stir salted peanuts into the caramel sauce

  8. Let the mixture cool for 15 minutes

  9. Spread the mixture over the chocolate layer only after it has cooled to prevent melting

  10. Chill for 1 hour

  11. Combine sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, sugar, and peanut butter in a saucepan

  12. Melt over low to medium heat

  13. Stir in marshmallow fluff

  14. Spread the mixture over the peanut layer

  15. Chill for 1 hour

  16. Melt the remaining dark chocolate and peanut butter over a water bath

  17. Stir briefly, then pour the mixture thinly over the marshmallow layer and smooth

  18. Chill for 30 minutes

  19. Cut along the baking frame with a smooth knife and remove the frame

  20. Grease a long knife with sunflower oil

  21. Cut the slab lengthwise into 3 equal strips

  22. Divide each strip into 8 bars
